Get Involved: Girl Talk
Help encourage teen girls stay safe and alcohol-free.
Girls, help make a difference and start a chapter in your school! Girl Talk is led by high school students who serve as mentors to middle school girls. Girl Talk's mission is to help young teenage girls build self-esteem, develop leadership skills, and recognize the importance of community service. Girl Talk and its curriculum are free of charge. All it takes is one adult and one high school girl to start a chapter. Materials are available online.
Through our partnership with Girl Talk, the "Choices and Consequences of Underage Drinking" Lesson will be highlighted in Girl Talk Chapters across the country. The Lesson discusses the social and health consequences of underage drinking, ways to say no to alcohol, and how alcohol affects girls and boys differently.
